It is poignant how the greats die in clusters. Farrah and then Michael Jackson, two icons gone from our mortal state. I will always have the memories of childhood when my sister, friends and I tried to recreate the Thriller Video! So much fun we had! We listened and danced to that over and over again! I remember going to a childhood party and dancing my bootee off to Michael Jackson. Regardless of the controversy of Michael, he left a mark on my life that will last forever! I feel that a part of my childhood has died with the passing of Michael. He truly was gifted from a gift that was from out of this world and aren't the truly gifted in this world tortured soles? He was never given the chance to just be a normal kid or normal person for that matter. None of us, that are considered "normal" anyway can truly know what he went through or experienced in his world of entertainment and stardom. It may seem like THE LIFE, but with it comes many sacrifices and tragedies of it's own.
I'm just sad that he was so young and his mortal life his over, but I hope he is shining bright on the other side. I hope he finally feels peace that he couldn't' find here on earth.
Michale passed away June 25, 2009 At 50 Years old. I thank him for making some of my childhood moments so memorable and enriching!
