Monty, My Dog, He is too cute!
I know alot of people don't believe in reincarnation, but I SWEAR Monty is my beloved Winston! Monty acts just like him, he does the same thing with the blankets that Winston used to do and he goes into the baby pool just like Winston. The little idiosynchroncies that match Winston are just uncanny. The way he acted like he just new us, when we first met, and looking in his eyes and just seeing Winston in those eyes from the very first time. Well, call me crazy, but I really believe in it.

I Don't Mind Dust Bunnies Because........
House Cleaning
I don't do windows because ...
I love birds and don't want one to run into a clean window and get hurt.
I don't wax floors because ...
I am terrified a guest will slip and get hurt then I'll feel terrible ( plus they may sue me.)
I don't mind the dust bunnies because ...
They are very good company, I have named most of them, and they agree with everything I say.
I don't disturb cobwebs because ...
I want every creature to have a home of their own.
I don't Spring Clean because ...
I love all the seasons and don't want the others to get jealous.
I don't pull weeds in the garden because ...
I don't want to get in God's way, HE is an excellent designer!
I don't put things away because ...
My husband will never be able to find them again.
I don't do gourmet meals when I entertain because ...
I don't want my guests to stress out over what to make when they invite me over for dinner.
I don't iron because ...
I choose to believe them when they say "Permanent Press".
I don't stress much on anything because ...
"A Type" personalities die young and I want to stick around and become a wrinkled up crusty ol' woman!!!!
REMEMBER: A CLEAN HOUSE IS THE SIGN OF A BROKEN COMPUTER!!!

So Sad About Michael and Farrah!
It is poignant how the greats die in clusters. Farrah and then Michael Jackson, two icons gone from our mortal state. I will always have the memories of childhood when my sister, friends and I tried to recreate the Thriller Video! So much fun we had! We listened and danced to that over and over again! I remember going to a childhood party and dancing my bootee off to Michael Jackson. Regardless of the controversy of Michael, he left a mark on my life that will last forever! I feel that a part of my childhood has died with the passing of Michael. He truly was gifted from a gift that was from out of this world and aren't the truly gifted in this world tortured soles? He was never given the chance to just be a normal kid or normal person for that matter. None of us, that are considered "normal" anyway can truly know what he went through or experienced in his world of entertainment and stardom. It may seem like THE LIFE, but with it comes many sacrifices and tragedies of it's own.
I'm just sad that he was so young and his mortal life his over, but I hope he is shining bright on the other side. I hope he finally feels peace that he couldn't' find here on earth.
Michale passed away June 25, 2009 At 50 Years old. I thank him for making some of my childhood moments so memorable and enriching!

Been Busy!
Been so busy here with everything! We had a stray cat have kittens in our yard. Thankfully this past week we were able to find good homes for all the kittens. All the shelters were going to automaticaly put them down if we took them there because it is kitten season and they are swamped with kittens. So we spent last weekend and some of the week placing all the kittens. Then yesterday I took the Mama cat to get fixed at the spca. It still wound up costing us $66.00 dollars, but I had to get her fixed, I don't want her to get knocked up again! She is a sweet cat and she will just be our outside cat. Her name is Freeloader :) We have another stray cat that showed up and he just walks right into our house like he owns the place! So that brings us to 6 cats now. Oh great!
Took the kids to the skate park this morning, it is starting to get hot here, so we went in the A.M.. Trying to find things to do for them this summer. We have the pool up again so they can go swimming.
Well, Just popped in to give an update and I hope you have a wonderful Father's Day!

Who knew chick peas in choco chip cookies would be so good!
Who knew? Chick peas in chocolate chip cookies? Yes, it does taste so good! I tried another recipe from Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfied and this tasted soo good, the kids didn't even bat an eye when eating these. They had no idea they just ate chickpeas!!! I love this book, I can't say enough about it! I tried 3 recipes so far and they are fantastic! The kids have been eating veggies and beans without even knowing it! I got my book cheaper from Ebay. I would strongly recommend it if you have kids! Here is her website

Helena in her New Dress
Helena looking cute in her new dress. She is cutting her bottom teeth. She has been really good about though, she doesn't seem too effected by it. She is still sleeping mostly through the night.
I bought the cooking book Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfield. I love this book! I made two recipes already and the kids had no idea they are eating vegetables in the meals! I am going to make another recipe tonight, the Quesadilla recipe where the squash will be hiding it! We will see if they like it!

Picture of Me and the Kids
A Picture of us taken Saturday, May, 09, 2009. Lil Paul is having a melt down, a usual thing for him! :) Helena looked away. Oh, the joy of taking pictures with kids!
We finaly got the bunk beds for the kids, it exhaused Paul and I out putting it together. We were so tired this morning , Sunday, that we scrapped our plans and just stayed local for Mother's Day. We went to the river and hiked and then got chicken to eat at home. The weather was great and we had a nice day.
Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Plans for the Weekend
On Saturday, I'm planning to buy the kids new bunk beds, they need new beds so bad and then figure out where I'm going to move Helena. She has been in our room, but she is older now and I think she needs to go into another room. On Mother's day we plan to take a drive and go to my favorite bakery that is in a small town on the way to Jackson, I can't think of the town but the bakery is Andreas, it is an award winning bakery and they got the best baked goods and breads. My brain is on freeze, darn it , can't think of the town. Then, we are going to an Indian Museum up there somewhere around there and have picnic too. That's the game plan anyway. Hopefully Helena will be good in the car.
Helena is doing the army man crawl, she is driving me nuts getting into everything! And boy what a temper she has already!
Lil Paul is getting soo tall! He is going to be a tall drink of water. He just finished building his birds nest home for a project for school. He did a great job, I'll have to take a picture and put it on here.
Blake is doing so much better in school, since changing teachers, thank goodness, he is back to A and B's again. The other teacher is old and burnt out and I think she needs to retire!
Hayden is also growing like a weed, he is taller than me now! He is such a great kid, I don't have too many problems with my kids, I am very lucky right now and I hope it stays that way!
Well, talk to you later, I'll let you know how the weekend went and post some pictures.
